يسرّ حلقة عابرون (Abiroun Circle) أن تعلن عن إطلاق فرع Abiroun Circle – MAP، وهو أول فرع رسمي لمنظمة Minorities and Philosophy (MAP) في منطقة الشرق الأوسط وشمال إفريقيا. ويمثل هذا الافتتاح خطوة محورية في توسيع شبكة MAP عالميًا، وترسيخ حضورها في فضاء أكاديمي غني بالأسئلة الفلسفية والتنوّع الثقافي.

تُعد MAP منظمة دولية غير ربحية يقودها طلبة وباحثون في الفلسفة، وتسعى منذ تأسيسها إلى مواجهة اللامساواة البنيوية داخل الفلسفة الأكاديمية، من خلال توفير الدعم والمساحات الآمنة للفئات المهمّشة، وتعزيز حضورها ومساهماتها في النقاش الفلسفي المعاصر.

أهداف فرع Abiroun Circle – MAP

يعمل فرعنا الجديد في إطار الرؤية العامة لمنظمة MAP، مع مراعاة خصوصيات السياق المحلي والإقليمي، وذلك من خلال:

• تعزيز قيم التنوع والعدالة داخل الفضاءات الفلسفية، وتشجيع مشاركة الفئات الأقل تمثيلاً في الأقسام والمجتمعات الفلسفية.

• تنظيم فعاليات فكرية وبحثية متنوعة، مثل الندوات، وورش العمل، وحلقات القراءة، واللقاءات الحوارية حول قضايا الهوية، والعدالة، والاعتراف.

• دعم البحث الفلسفي الإقليمي المرتبط بتجارب الفئات المهمّشة وربطه بالنقاش الفلسفي العالمي.

• بناء شبكة تعاون أكاديمي بين الباحثين والطلبة ومؤسسات التعليم العالي في المنطقة، بما يعزز تبادل الخبرات والمعارف.

• إطلاق برامج للإرشاد والتكوين موجهة للطلبة والباحثين الناشئين، لدعم مساراتهم الأكاديمية والمهنية.

• التعاون مع الجامعات والمؤسسات الفكرية من أجل تطوير سياسات تعليمية أكثر شمولًا وعدالة داخل الحقل الفلسفي.

رسالتنا

يسعى فرع Abiroun Circle – MAP إلى بناء فضاء فلسفي نقدي، منفتح ومتعدد الأصوات، قادر على معالجة قضايا التنوع والعدالة والإنصاف الأكاديمي، وربط التفكير الفلسفي بالتحولات الاجتماعية والثقافية الجارية في العالم العربي والإفريقي.

دعوة للانضمام والمشاركة

يدعو الفرع جميع الطلبة والباحثين وأعضاء هيئة التدريس والمهتمين بتطوير الفلسفة في المنطقة إلى الانضمام والمساهمة في تأسيس هذا المشروع الأكاديمي الجديد. وسيتم قريبًا الإعلان عن البرنامج السنوي، والمبادرات العلمية، وآليات التسجيل والمشاركة.

Abiroun Circle is pleased to announce the launch of Abiroun Circle – MAP, the first official chapter of the organization Minorities and Philosophy (MAP) in the Middle East and North Africa region. This launch marks a significant step in expanding MAP’s global network and strengthening its presence within an academic space rich in philosophical inquiry and cultural diversity.

MAP is an international, non-profit organization led by students and researchers in philosophy. Since its founding, it has sought to address structural inequalities within academic philosophy by providing support and safe spaces for marginalized groups, while enhancing their presence and contributions to contemporary philosophical discourse.

Objectives of Abiroun Circle – MAP Chapter

Our new chapter operates within the broader vision of MAP, while taking into account the specificities of the local and regional context, through:

• Promoting values of diversity and justice within philosophical spaces, and encouraging the participation of underrepresented groups in philosophical departments and communities.

• Organizing diverse intellectual and research-oriented activities, including seminars, workshops, reading groups, and dialogue sessions on issues such as identity, justice, and recognition.

• Supporting regional philosophical research connected to the experiences of marginalized communities, and linking it to global philosophical debates.

• Building networks of academic collaboration among researchers, students, and higher education institutions in the region, in order to foster the exchange of knowledge and expertise.

• Launching mentoring and training programs for students and early-career researchers to support their academic and professional development.

• Collaborating with universities and intellectual institutions to develop more inclusive and equitable educational policies within the field of philosophy.

Our Mission

The Abiroun Circle – MAP chapter seeks to build a critical, open, and plural philosophical space capable of addressing issues of diversity, justice, and academic equity, while connecting philosophical reflection to ongoing social and cultural transformations in the Arab and African worlds.

Call for Participation

The chapter invites students, researchers, faculty members, and all those interested in advancing philosophy in the region to join and contribute to the establishment of this new academic initiative. The annual program, upcoming initiatives, and details regarding registration and participation will be announced soon.
